LEADERSHIP

Tim Snow, Chief Executive Officer
Named CEO in June 2007, Tim joined Detection Logic in 2006 with the acquisition of Copperstate Technologies, Inc., which he founded in 1987. Tim has been a key player in the fire/life safety industry since 1980, drawing on his extensive knowledge of business development, customer relations, administration and construction practices to create a company which has achieved rapid growth and success. His principles, high standards and vision for the future have proven instrumental in Detection Logic's strategy.

Mustafa Colak, President
Having established and operated the San Francisco office for five years, Mustafa was named President on June 1, 2007. He has twelve years experience in the fire/life safety industry, plus fifteen years in the HVAC controls industry. Prior to joining Detection Logic, Mustafa served as Regional Director of Engineering and Vice President of Engineering for several national commercial property owners and management companies. He oversees all aspects of business development, engineering and operations of the company. Mustafa holds a  BS in Electrical Engineering and is EST, Notifier, N.I.C.E.T. Level 4 and EPA certified as well as SMA by BOMI.

Marc Serrio, Chief Financial Officer
Marc has 26 years finance and business management experience in a variety of industries. A veteran of Fortune 500 companies McDonnell Douglas, Teradyne, PepsiCo and Disney, over the past twelve years he has served primarily in an executive management capacity for early stage technology companies. Joining Detection Logic in November 2005, his responsibilities include treasury, planning, analysis, accounting operations,risk management and legal.
Marc received his BS and MBA degrees from the University of Southern California.

Darin Matheus, Chief Operating Officer
Darin has been with Detection Logic for ten years and brings over twenty years experience in the industry, including eleven years. He has previously served as control specialist, project lead and project manager. Darin's responsibilities include installation project management, improving tenant project design, costing, alarm system design and configuration, inventory management, procurement and final inspections.  Darin has a degree in Electrical Engineering and  is certified in high rise smoke evacuation, N.I.C.E.T. Level 4, EST and LAFD Reg-4.

Saeid Katal, Chief Technology Officer, VP of Engineering
Saeid joined Detection Logic in 2002 and has 20 years experience in engineering and project management. Saeid's responsibilities include all engineering management, project management and quality assurance, third party engineering relations and development, as well as estimation and pre-construction services.  Saeid holds a BS degree and earned his MS in Computer Engineering.
